Tau Six, an agile small company delivering cutting edge cybersecurity and systems integration services to the US National Security market, has an immediate need for a Knowledge and Correspondence Manager to support a Department of Defense customer in Chantilly, VA.
Your excellent customer service, organizational, and technical skills will assist VIP Department of Defense customers in in the identification, organization, and routing of organizational information to multiple programs and functional areas.
The Knowledge and Correspondence Manager manages the organization and categorization of office data across multiple systems and technologies, including Microsoft SharePoint, ServiceNow knowledge bases, and shared folders. In this role you will serve as the organizational knowledge manager for a critical DoD customer and facilitate the efficient flow of information across the organization. You will work with end users and information technology professionals to implement custom automated workflows and knowledge repositories.
Security Clearance: Active Top Secret / SCI U.S. Government Clearance Required This position requires full-time on-site support. This is not a remote position. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Provide professional, polite, friendly and helpful customer service to government customers on knowledge management, correspondence and business processes.Act as liaison and action officer between office VIPs and IT teams to ensure the efficient application of technology to government business processes.Implement correspondence tracking and management processes to ensure effective internal and external document routing and approvals (MOA/MOU)Coordinate the flow of information and the implementation of business processes within the organization, leveraging technology to streamline and automate standard workflowsManage the configuration and content of multiple knowledge libraries, including Microsoft SharePoint, ServiceNow knowledge bases, and shared system folders.Use the DoD Correspondence and Task Management System (CATMS) to ensure timely responses to formal DoD tasking.Identify requirements for increased business process automation with customer leadership and user communities.In collaboration with the software development team, implement custom automated workflows in the ServiceNow platform.Coordinates records management activities and helps ensure compliance with DoD Records Management policy and guidelines.Consults with management to devise the most useful ways to apply knowledge management technologies to meet customer goals.Troubleshoot problems as they arise with knowledge management applications and systems.Resolve customer inquiries both over the phone and by email Qualifications: Polite, friendly and helpful customer service and communications skillsHighly organized and methodical document management habits and processesStrong Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams, and Microsoft SharePoint experienceAble to communicate clearly over the phone to leaders and end users.Demonstrates understanding of knowledge management principles and practices.Familiarity with the Department of Defense Correspondence and Task Management System (CATMS)Possesses strong problem-solving and analytical skills.Possesses knowledge of best practices for maintaining information security.Is able to handle confidential and sensitive information responsibly.Possesses ability to think creatively to devise custom business process workflowsProfessional attitudeWillingness to learn new skills2 years of experience performing similar functionsHigh school diploma or equivalent Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related fieldExperience using and implementing workflows in the ServiceNow platform.Experience implementing a records management program within the DoD4 years of experience in a Knowledge Management role Security Clearance: Active Top Secret/SCI clearance adjudicated within the past 6 years is required for this position.
