POSITION OVERVIEW The Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) Writer develops and updates standard operating procedures related to the processing of business to ensure a consistent quality service experience for our customers. Works with leadership and Subject Matter Expert (SMEs) quality and process owner teams to derive content and create and maintain SOPs across operations, including our third-party service providers. This involves collecting and consolidating input from cross functional stakeholders, developing written processes, reviewing current documentation and SOPs and developing them into clear and concise procedures.

RESPONSIBILITIES Interacts with business partners and subject matter experts to gather information from multiple stakeholders and document Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) for Individual Markets Organizes, writes, edits, and produces SOP documentation and processes. Helps develop and maintain standards regarding style, and consistent terminology. Explains complex information into easily understandable language for a variety of audiences, ensuring accuracy and compliance with guidelines. Adheres to ethical and confidential principles in the collection, maintenance, use, and dissemination of data and information. Develop strategies, tactics, and governance to drive effective and widespread usage of the company's knowledge base. This includes creation of guidelines for what information is captured, and by whom, how it integrates with the rest of operating ecosystem, how to keep it from growing stale, and ease of use to find information quickly. Maintains, updates, and manages content in the knowledge management portal, ensuring content is easy to access and find. Utilizes various tools to document the SOP's utilizing the Microsoft Office Suite Coordinates approval process with Project Manager(s) & Functional Manager(s) pertaining to documenting and finalizing all formal processes Develop & direct correspondences to effectively communicate insights & plans (project requirements, scope & objectives) to cross-functional stakeholders & team members Works with leadership and SMEs, as well as quality and continuous improvement team to identify content gaps and curate content needed to aid in improved service experience for our customers. Oversee development and ongoing governance & maintenance of Knowledge Base artifacts to ensure they remain up to date, relevant and effective, to include standard operating procedures, firm guidelines, job aids, and more. Various jurisdictions have passed pay transparency laws that require companies provide salary ranges for any positions for which they are accepting applications. Global Atlantic has offices in Atlanta, Batesville, Bermuda, Boston, Des Moines, Hartford, Indianapolis, and New York City. The base salary range posted below is inclusive of the lowest cost of living geography to the highest in which we have a Global Atlantic office. Global Atlantic's base salary range is determined through an analysis of similar positions in the external labor market. Base pay is just one component of Global Atlantic's total compensation package for employees and at times we hire outside the boundaries of the salary range. Other rewards may include annual cash bonuses, long-term incentives (equity), generous benefits (including immediate vesting on employee contributions to a 401(k), as well as a company match on your contributions), and sales incentives. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. Compensation for our more senior positions have a larger component of short-term cash bonus and long-term incentives.
The base salary range for this role is $43,500—$83,500 USD
