We are seeking a highly skilled Kronos Configuration Consultant to join our clients team in Rockville, MD. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing, configuring, and optimizing Kronos workforce management software to meet the dynamic operational needs of the clients organization. This role involves creating reports, revising queries, configuring rules, and providing functional support to end-users. Job Title: Kronos Configuration Expert

Location: Rockville, MD

Duration: Long Term Key Responsibilities: Create reports for end users based on dynamic operational needs. Create and revise SQL/WIM queries to support operational needs and migrate to the Boomi platform as part of the upgrade to Pro WFM (Dimensions). Configure, re-configure, and test pay rules, work rules, and assignment rules in Kronos Workforce Timekeeper V8, including new Pro WFM (Dimensions) features. Configure, maintain, test, and replace timeclocks for various departments and locations. Monitor daily, weekly, and biweekly interface jobs to ensure timely imports and data accuracy. Review and recommend changes to Workforce Integration Manager interfaces and scheduling configurations. Create and modify schedule patterns, genies, Hyperfinds, and pay codes as operational needs change. Update Holiday Calendar and modify WIM jobs as needed. Assist with the implementation of department-specific timekeeping processes and procedures. Participate in system upgrade testing, service patch testing, and create/update test scripts. Report functional and technical issues within the Kronos Workforce Timekeeper V8 application to the functional project manager. Process forms related to Kronos Workforce Timekeeper V8 system administration functions, such as schedule changes and special access requests. Resolve daily Transaction Assistant errors. Provide help desk support and individual ad-hoc training as required. Validate and verify timecard entries at the close of the pay period. Develop training materials and facilitate training sessions as required. Qualifications: Proficient in Kronos Workforce Timekeeper V8 with the ability to quickly understand the client's configuration. Expertise in configuring pay rules, work rules, assignment rules, accrual codes, and profiles. Skilled in reviewing, creating, and modifying Workforce Integration Manager and SQL queries. Experienced in creating reports using Kronos Reporting Tools or SQL queries. Knowledgeable in the Pro WFM (Dimensions) and Boomi platforms. Experienced in providing functional application and process support to end users. Proficient in system testing, including upgrade-related, service patch, and regression testing. Knowledgeable in automated scheduling systems/modules such as Trapeze or TeleStaff, including ETL processes. Ability to apply Personnel Regulations and Collective Bargaining agreements to time and attendance configurations. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a customer service focus. General system administration skills, including monitoring interface jobs and resolving Transaction Assistant errors. Forms processing experience with the ability to analyze and verify data and ensure proper authorization. Additional Skills: Basic knowledge of payroll practices and procedures. Ability to quickly learn and understand departmental operational needs, including Public Safety. High attention to detail and strong sense of ownership and accountability. Skilled in planning, organizing work, and setting priorities. Ability to thrive in a changing environment while maintaining a positive attitude. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Office 365. Familiarity with client's Personnel Regulations and Collective Bargaining agreements specific to timekeeping policies and processes. ASSYST is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
