It is an arduous, tedious, task-oriented role.
They are required to essentially take apart a "plumbing system" that carries pudding from the kettles to the filling machines.
**Possible temp to perm if openings are available**Steel-toed shoes are required but we may be able to provide composite safety shoe covers if they do not have them readily availableCheck with candidates to make sure they are willing to work Saturdays as required.
Typical hours on Saturday are usually 8AM to 6PM.
Remember any hours worked beyond 40 in a week is Overtime.The sanitation role is NOT a janitor role.

They are required to essentially take apart a "plumbing system" that carries pudding from the kettle to the filling machines.
The kettles are as big as hot tubs and the sanitation associates are required to stand over them and use elbow grease and chemicals to scrub the kettle clean.
They use power washers special protective boots and PPE to protect against the water and chemicals used in the process.
Quality Assurance will then swab the kettle and examine it microscopically to ensure all traces of pudding are gone.
Once trained, an associate will be able to clean the kettle in about an hour to an hour and 15 minutes of the expectations of the role.The Sanitarian is responsible for the upkeep and sanitation of a variety of food service equipment and facilities.
Essential Functions: Clean and sanitize equipment as directed by the supervisor, Follow SSOP ( Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures), Comply with proper handling of chemicals and dilation factors, Responds to emergencies, Provide technical direction and training to other sanitarians as applicable, May fill in for other departmental absences, Needs to be familiar with CIP (Chemical in Place) operation and milk Silo clean, Stay current with safety training and proper PPE (Personal Protective Equipment), Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Traits: Mechanically inclined to dismantle and reassemble equipment, Be able to read and understand sanitation procedures.Follow written and oral procedure, MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheets) knowledgeable, Fill out master sanitation and daily paperwork, Equipment Used: PC, proprietary software, telephone, and other office equipment.

Physical Demands: Standing-Entire shift, Lifting up to 25 lbs-Regularly, Working in hot/cold temperatures-Occasionally, Noise typical of a production environment-Entire shift Required-Steel Toed Shoes.
Due to onsite safety, all candidates must be fluent and able to read and write in either English or Spanish.
