Performs technical and clerical functions in one or more sections of the laboratory.
Performs training and support to new staff.
Supports the Laboratory Manager with quality control initiatives.
Qualifications - External
Minimum Education
High school diploma- Required
Required Skills
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Qualifications
Minimum Work Experience
Experience in Clinical Laboratory settings Required
Minimum one (1) year experience in phlebotomy Preferred
Phlebotomist Program Completion Certificate Highly Preferred
National Certification in Phlebotomy Highly Preferred
