In order to participate in Berklee Student Employment, a student must fulfill the following requirements:
Current student at Berklee College of Music or Boston Conservatory at Berklee.Enrolled at least half-time in a degree, diploma, or certificate-seeking undergraduate or graduate program.
Summer is the only semester in which a student can maintain employment without being enrolled.
In this case, the student must be pre-registered for the upcoming fall semester.
This exception does not apply to fall or spring semesters.Have a valid United States Social Security Number (SSN).Remain in "valid" Visa status as applicable.A minimum 2.0 cumulative GPA.

Work for Operations in our many labs.
We support 15+ music technology lab-classrooms.
Support teachers and students, test and maintain lab equipment, monitor lab use during lab time, and other tasks.
EPD, Film Scoring, MPE, and CWP majors encouraged to apply.
Under the direction of Lab Operations Staff, Lab Assistant Temps oversee the use of music technology lab facilities and assist with lab-classroom tech support.
All Lab Ops student employees start as temps and are promoted to Lab Assistants after demonstrating knowledge and reliability over a period of time.
We Need: The ability to use two or more Berklee DAWs (used in classes), and a willingness to learn and support any DAWBasic knowledge of MIDI and Audio setup of a desktop production stationReliability & FlexibilityThe ability to communicate in English with people from all over the world, and with very different levels of understanding of music technologyThe ability to follow verbal and written instructionsAdherence to both governmental and Berklee's COVID protection protocols We Prefer: Film Scoring, EPD, Songwriting, CWP, or MPE majors who have taken the first 1 or 2 tech classes in these majors (or equivalent knowledge)Students who can work 10 or more hours per week.Working knowledge of audio recording and signal flowWorking knowledge of Mac OSStudents with a few semesters to go before graduatingA few students who have taken a class in the DJ/Turntable LabA few students who have taken a class in the soldering (Makers') lab or soldering experience
