Nesco Resource is seeking a Lab Technician to join the team of one of our long-term clients in the Pontiac area. This role primarily supports the Lab Team with all necessary test performances. This shift is Monday through Friday, from 8 AM until 4 PM, and the pay rate is $16/hour. EXPECTATIONS Adheres to Company Policy and Procedures Acts as a role model within and outside the Company Performs duties as workload necessitates Maintains a positive and respectful attitude Communicates regularly with supervisor about departmental issues Demonstrates flexible and efficient time management and ability to prioritize workload Consistently reports to work on time prepared to perform duties of position Meets department productivity standards ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Determines conformance of test samples to specifications. Support product testing setup, operation, and data collection. Ensures conformance of laboratory to ISO 17025 requirements. Maintain overall order of cleanliness of lab area. Supports test equipment preventive maintenance. Communicate project status. Maintain quality, confidentiality, and impartiality policies. Ensure continuous improvement of cycle, process, capacity, lab output, plan resources for maximum profitability. QUALIFICATIONS Knowledge of ISO 17025. Knowledge of the customer-specific specifications and requirements Knowledge of manufacturing processes Knowledge of lab testing. General computer skills Good organizational skills COMMUNICATION SKILLS Proficient in verbal and written communication - English.
