Job Summary As a technician part of the PC and PBT process team, you will be focused on supporting the technology and innovation efforts on different fields including:
Support of existing assets Experimentation for innovation programs, i.e. quality improvements, sustainability. Data management Safety Construction and troubleshooting of new experimental set ups from lab to semi-pilot scale Reporting and presentations You will be engaged in projects involving different teams of the Technology and Innovation global organization and manufacturing teams.
How You Can Be the Impact Willingness to follow all relevant safety requirements. Supporting lab efforts in the Process Technology Group including but not limited to conducting lab reactions in glassware, analyzing products by LC , GPC, IV, titration, GC, and DSC, performing lab and kilo-scale (5-gallon) polymerizations, working with pressure filters, and thermal isolation of lab materials. Routine instrument calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting as required maintaining efficiency and data quality. New method development for process programs. • Managing test sample submission to our LIMS system. Maintaining accurate laboratory records and communicating results to other team members. Collecting information for ordering of laboratory supplies and coordinating with sourcing to submit orders. • Lab cleaning responsibilities include, maintaining chemical inventories, disposing of waste, and general housekeeping as required to ensure a safe work environment. What Matters to SABIC Bachelor degree in Chemistry or Biochemistry.
