Responsibilities: Running cases from start to finish in collaboration with senior attorneyManaging client relationshipsServing as point of contact for opposing counselDrafting legal briefsGuiding strategic decisions in complex litigation mattersManaging and coordinating with partners, paralegals, and assistants on mattersManaging multiple deadlines and tasks for various clients at onceAssessing legal risk for clientsResearching complicated legal questionsQualifications: 2-4 years of experience handling Labor & Employment matters involving wage & hour and PAGATrial experience preferredStrong legal writing and research skills are a mustAbility to manage multiple matters and stay on top of deadlines; strong organizational skillsEase in managing client relationshipsAble to supervise matters throughout the entire life cycle (pre-litigation counseling, and handling litigation from inception through trial)Able to run cases and manage paralegals and assistantsPositive attitude, team player, someone who thrives in a fast-paced environmentThe salary range for this position is $150,000-$185,000.
Pay is determined based on depth of experience in the practice area.
Associates are eligible to participate in the Raines associate bonus program, subject to the program's conditions and restrictions.
