Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse

An acute care hospital in beautiful New York is looking to add a Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (nights) to their growing team! This 300+ bed hospital is known for providing competent, innovative, and accessible emergency and acute care services to their patients. The Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse is responsible for managing, delegating, coordinating, and providing nursing care through utilization of the nursing process. The above is accomplished with the utilization of effective communication skills with patients, significant others and members of the multidisciplinary health care team. The Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse must have Labor & Delivery experience, as well as their Bachelor Degree Nursing. National Certification in area of practice is preferred and N.Y.S. Nursing License, Current N.Y.S. Registration. BLS & NRP required. They must also obtain their ACLS within 6 months of hire.
