We are a team of scientists who work to develop pharmaceutical drug products for all developmental phases from research over clinical phases to transfer to commercial plants. In the team, we take care of formulation development including corresponding analytics, process development, and preparation of regulatory dossiers. We take responsibility to work with all drug product related interfaces like GMP manufacture, CMC team and clinical team. We value collaboration and support each other. Main responsibilities: Manage a team of 2-3 technicians or scientists developing preclinical, clinical and commercial parenteral biologics drug products including robust aseptic filling processesConduct, develop and evaluate analytical characterization of pharmaceuticals (including pharmacopoeial methods)Conduct studies to define administration strategies of drug productsAct as drug product team leader in charge of progressing a diverse portfolio of drug product development projects from entry into development to approvalEnsure smooth technology transfers to clinical and commercial drug product manufacturing facilities through to initial product launches; provide appropriate troubleshooting supportPrepare drug product sections of regulatory documents (e.g. INDs, IMPDs, BLAs) as well as scientific & technical reports and presentationsShape the development strategy by evaluating, adapting and implementing innovative tools and technologiesContribute to and lead scientific initiatives such as internal and external workshops and conferencesAbout you Experience: Strong expertise in biologics drug product development, relevant analytics and GMP requirementsSoft and technical skills: Strong leadership and communication skills to work in and lead cross-functional teams; Writing and presentation skillsEducation: PhD or equivalent in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or a related disciplineLanguages: Fluent in English and GermanProfessional experience in the pharmaceutical industry is welcomeWhy choose us?
