Laboratory Information Management System Engineer

Greensboro NC based company specialized in healthcare programs and all aspects of laboratory management is seeking a computer engineer to join a highly trained expert team supporting various aspects of a proprietary cloud-based LIS and healthcare program.
Job duties include:
Setting up, configuring and extending the LIS for new and existing customers Configuring new computers with Windows OS, label printers, printers and barcode readers for laboratory use Supporting interface setup for new laboratory analyzers Supporting the interface setup between EMR and billing systems Remotely communicating with customers to resolve LIS issues and understand requests for new functionality Troubleshooting potential LIS problems Writing and executing test cases for new LIS functionality in support of the company's software team Training new LIS customers Supporting/maintaining support procedures for the LIS Qualifications:
Extensive knowledge of MS Windows and Windows based applications such as MS Word and Excel PC knowledge Excellent problem solving and analyzing skills Communication skills to be a team player Experience with HL7 and database management Clinical laboratory experience Familiarity with quality procedures and lab best practices Education and experience:
2-4 years clinical laboratory and LIS experience. Bachelor of Science as Clinical Laboratory S
cientist or related field.
