This role will focus on supporting the Sr.
Lab Ops Manager with leveraging the intersection of AI-driven methodologies and practical laboratory management to enhance overall lab efficiencies.Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Sr.
Lab Operations Manager to support both the automation and experimental teams, ensuring streamlined laboratory processes and enhanced operational efficiency.Inventory Management: Manage the chemical inventory to ensure accurate and timely availability of supplies and maintain inventory stocks for lab consumables.Procurement: Maintain the procurement rack and manage notifications, ensuring timely ordering and replenishment of lab supplies.Equipment Maintenance: Help schedule preventative maintenance (PMs) and ensure the proper functioning and upkeep of lab equipment.AI Tool Integration: Assess and integrate a range of AI tools to optimize various aspects of the laboratory, such as inventory management, procurement, lab safety, and equipment maintenance.Operational Support: Support overall laboratory operations, including supply management, adherence to security protocols, and maintaining high safety standards.Best Practices Implementation: Assist in implementing and maintaining best practices for the safe use of new technologies and equipment by all lab staff.Safety Officer Responsibilities: Act as a Lab Safety Officer, liaising with Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) and facilities teams to maintain a safe working environment in the laboratory, with a focus on lab automation and chemical safetyCompliance: Ensure compliance with all corporate policies and regulatory requirements related to lab operations.At FL97 and at Flagship, we recognize there is no perfect candidate.
