Position As a Laboratory Toxicology Supervisor, you will play a key role in maintaining high standards of safety, accuracy, and efficiency in our toxicology department. Reporting directly to the Lab Manager, you will ensure that laboratory operations are compliant with regulatory standards and contribute to the overall success of the team.
Responsibilities Design and modify Standard Operating Procedures for validations and clinical testing.
Oversee LC/MS and Mass Spectrometry instruments.
Act as the lead point of contact for the toxicology team during the Lab Manager's absence.
Interpret data and generate patient result reports.
Manage Quality Control runs and take corrective actions as needed.
Ensure compliance with laboratory safety and instrument standards.
Provide training and guidance to new employees.
Conduct risk assessments and report findings.
Advise on the safe handling of toxic substances.
Conduct laboratory inspections to ensure compliance with standards.
Collaborate with other departments to troubleshoot and resolve operational issues.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Education: Bachelor of Science degree or higher in chemistry, biology, clinical laboratory science, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years of documented toxicology experience in processing samples and determining results. Clinical toxicology experience, specifically related to drugs of abuse, is highly desired.
LCMS-specific experience with triple quadrupole mass spectrometry is highly desired.
Exceptional organizational skills with a methodical approach to work.
Proficiency in collecting and analyzing large volumes of experimental data.
Meticulous attention to detail.
Strong work management and problem-solving skills.
Ability to multitask and deliver test results promptly.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Schedule Flexible schedule.
Background Check Requirement A background check is required for this position. Continued employment is dependent on the outcome of the background check.

Job Types Full-time - flexible schedule 
Relocation Assistance is available and it varies. 
Salary Range 85 to 105k, including bonus opportunities
