The Laboratory Technician performs laboratory procedures related to setting up, performing tests, reading results if trained and laboratory cleaning maintenance. The Laboratory Technician may interact with clients to discuss results of testing performed but is not to discuss any interpretation of the results or to consult on complex testing issues. The Laboratory Technician I has the responsibility to perform duties in accordance with established methods and protocols.Performing TestSet up and analyze tests using aseptic technique and according to protocols, specifications, and directives.Collaborate with the implementation, maintenance, and improvement of quality systems.Perform laboratory testing in compliance with ISO/IEC 17025.Review and maintain records for compliance with laboratory specifications.Travel to and conduct on-site sampling at client sites on a daily/weekly basis (when required)Collecting samples in cleanroom environments requires strict adherence to gowning procedures.Perform required calculations.Conduct onsite testing.Collaborates with the schedule and conduct of laboratory tests.Collaborates in scheduling and conduct of the laboratory.Assists with scheduling and conducts of qualifications, validations, and calibrations.Collaborates in drafting, executing, and reviewing of qualificationPreferred Work Experience:1-year experience in a laboratory settingKnowledge of Universal Blood and Body Fluid Precautions.Education:Required: High School DiplomaBenefitsFulltime Employment with Azzur can offer you:Flexible PTOTraining and Development Opportunities401(k) matchBonus EligibilityMedical BenefitsPaid HolidaysCompany provided laptopWho we are:Azzur Group is dedicated to providing clients with efficient, innovative quality and compliance solutions from Discovery to Delivery™.
