Laboratory Technician Ii

_*Sampson Regional Medical Center*_ is seeking a Laboratory Tech II to join the Laboratory Department!*Description:*The selected applicants will perform various waived, moderately and highly complex hematologic, chemical, immunohematologic, immunologic/serologic, microscopic, and microbiological tests on specimens to obtain data for use in diagnosis or treatment of diseases.*Requirements:** National certification as an MT/MLS/MLT by an approved agency (ASCP or AMT) required* Two years Lab Tech I or II experience preferred* Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology/Clinical Laboratory Science or an Associate's degree in laboratory science from an accredited institution that includes successful completion of an approved clinical laboratory training program required.* Knowledge of lab equipment, quality control methods, and report management required*Hours:*May work twelve (12) hour shifts, including rotating weekends and holidays.
