The Laboratory Technician will perform routine laboratory testing at the request of the Laboratory Supervisor/Manager. The possibility of data reduction and reporting exists for those with computer skills and the aptitude for data reduction.
\n Job Responsibilities:Performs soil, aggregate, asphalt, and concrete testingMaintains laboratory equipment and laboratory space in neat orderAssists in logging, storage, and disposal of samplesPerforms other duties as requested Qualifications:High school degreeGood oral and written communication skills, including good technical writing capabilitiesAbility to effectively use computersAbility to use initiative and work independently within the limitations of experienceKnowledge of various exploratory and laboratory techniquesRequired to stand for long periods of time
