Overview:   Grubbs, Hoskyn, Barton & Wyatt, LLC, a Universal Engineering Sciences (UES) Company, has an opening in our Construction Services Department. UES is a nationwide leader in Geotechnical Engineering, Construction Materials Testing and Inspection, Building Code Compliance, Environmental, Occupational Health & Safety, and Building Envelope.
To perform routine concrete and soil laboratory testing at the request of the Laboratory Supervisor/Manager. The possibility of data reduction and boring log preparation exists for those with computer skills and the aptitude for data reduction.
\n Job Responsibilities:Performs soil, aggregate, asphalt and concrete testing. Maintains laboratory equipment and laboratory space in neat order.Assists in logging, storage and disposal of samples.Performs other duties as requested. Qualifications:High School DiplomaGood oral and written communication skills, including good technical writing capabilitiesAbility to effectively use computersAbility to use initiative and work independently within the limitations of experienceKnowledge of various exploratory and laboratory techniquesRequired to stand for long periods of time
