Assist the Laminate Tubes team problem solving efforts with use of QA methodologies and data to facilitate issue resolution including root cause investigations and the development, implementation and monitoring of effective corrective and preventive actions for both internal and external opportunities for improvement Coordinate continuous improvement activities for the Laminate Tubes/Assembly Department Develop and implement product quality standards and assure products meet customer expectations Establish quality performance metrics to drive improvement activities Lead and perform product containment activities and arrange for disposition on internal and external non-conforming product Serve as customer contact point for quality and service issues for Laminate Tubes including: Communication between Berry and customers Coordinating receipt and evaluation of samples of non-conforming product Creating and providing root cause investigation and corrective actions reports back to customers Administer gage calibration program for Laminate Tubes testing equipment Lead 5S program and activities in the Laminate Tubes/Assembly Department Maintain and ensure an accurate measuring and testing system for Laminate Tubes Department Serve as quality representative for all activities, including monthly meetings, qualifications, etc. and provide quality-related reports as required Coordinate all qualification activities for new equipment, technologies, tooling, etc. Coordinate vision system challenge program Maintain and enforce all company safety, environmental and Department of Health requirements College degree, CQE or equivalent Quality experience preferred. Strong organizational skills with proven ability to complete multiple tasks simultaneously. Working knowledge of C-Pro, Ignition, Six Sigma, Excel, Minitab, and Team Building. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proven ability to lead employees in positive manner. Experience in continuous improvement preferred.
