As the Land Acquisition Director for the Chicago Market, you will be the senior leader of a team of Land acquisition department employees, maintain developer relationships, and actively negotiate large land deals.
Primary Responsibilities Manage and direct a team of Land Managers and Supervisors capable of meeting NVR's unit sales and profit objectives for Chicago. Cultivate new developer relationships and maintain existing relationships. Review contracts from direct reports with Legal and Finance to ensure compliance. Actively negotiate and structure large and complex deals in the core market area. Qualifications At least 6 years of demonstrated land acquisition leadership experience. Bachelor's degree. Effective team manager. Skilled in land deal structuring. Finance and Accounting background preferred. Excel proficiency. Competencies Perseverance. Ambition. Results-oriented.
