Johnson Engineering is seeking a motivated Landscape Architect to join our well-established team in Southwest Florida. The successful candidate will be an individual looking to challenge themselves working on a multitude of vital landscape projects throughout the region.

Essential Duties: Design and preparation of concept plans, schematic plans, master concept plans, landscape, and irrigation construction plan preparation by using AutoCAD. Perform research and prepare applications, planting layout, irrigation design, hardscape design, site plans, detail drawings, construction documents, technical landscape specifications, cost estimates and color rendering. Observe construction work in progress and reporting on contractors' performance regarding plan compliance, quality of materials, and workmanship related to landscape features. Comprehension of land development regulations, able to analyze and interpret common scientific and technical data and reports. Supervises plan preparation by technicians and landscape designers, communicate effectively with coworkers, clients, and regulatory agencies, and work as part of a team with other employees. Qualifications:
Registered Landscape Architect in state of Florida or Bachelor's degree in landscape architecture with ability to obtain licensure within 1 year. Experience in AutoCAD, Land FX, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office. Familiarity with horticultural, irrigation, and construction practices. Ability to produce AutoCAD construction plans, hand graphics and sketches is a plus. ArcGIS, and/or SketchUp experience is a plus. Excellent driving record Valid Florida driver's license required. Signing Bonus Opportunity Salary commensurate with level of experience.
