JOB TITLE: LANDSCAPE PRODUCTION LEADER
DEPARTMENT: PRODUCTION
REPORTS TO: LANDSCAPE DESIGN/SALES
SUMMARY This position will be responsible for day to day operations of our landscape installation crew. Direction will be given by to crew leader to crew members to efficiently complete landscape project. Strong working knowledge of all aspects of landscape maintenance is required.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Lead landscape installation crew on site to efficiently install landscape projects Installation of trees, shrubs, perennials, grading, sodding, minor irrigation etc.Ability to coordinate with designer/project manager to complete projects in a timely mannerAccurately complete daily project time/material sheets and turn in to managementProvide operator maintenance on all equipment usedInspect all work quality by landscape installation crewTrain new landscape crew members for proper techniques and procedures on job siteFollow all safety procedures delegated by management and ensure crew follows same measures· Possess working knowledge and installation techniques for holiday lighting· Actively participate in snow operations

REQUIREMENTS Minimum 5 years experience in the landscape industry Self motivated with the desire to leadAbility to read blue prints, elevation drawings, and drainage mapsStrong communication skills with clients and fellow employeesAbility to problem solve if on-site issues ariseUnderstanding of proper landscape installation techniques including grading, drainage and irrigationExtensive knowledge of landscape plantsAbility to operate small power and hand tools, skid steers, loaders, plows and snow removal equipmentMust demonstrate ability to efficiently manage landscape crew of 1-4 members and delegate responsibilities Should be detail oriented and able to work well in a team environment or individuallyFollow all safety procedures delegated by managementMust have a clean driving record and possess a valid driver's license with chauffer's endorsementCapable of working in an outdoor environment (e.g., heat, rain, snow)Should be able to consistently lift up to 50 pounds
