Lead Architect - Residential Construction We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lead Architect to join a dynamic team! The Lead Architect will be responsible for leading the design department, overseeing all aspects of the architectural process, and ensuring the successful execution of projects from conception to completion. This role requires a strong leader who is capable of managing a team, collaborating with other departments, and delivering outstanding design solutions.
Responsibilities: Lead, manage, and mentor the design team to produce high-quality architectural solutions Collaborate with the sales team to deliver exceptional design experiences for clients Engage with clients to understand their needs and develop innovative design/build solution Create as-built drawings, schematic design drawings, construction documents, and permit drawings Manage project selections, including researching design trends and working within budget constraints Incorporate construction techniques and value engineering into the design/build process Establish and maintain design standards and best practices within the department Drive design efficiency by evaluating software and workflow processes Allocate resources effectively and manage department requests Support the sales team with design presentations and client meetings Source and develop technology solutions for sales presentations and design efficiency Review and redline work for quality control and training purposes Ensure the accuracy and quality of all plans created by the design team Required Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or related field Proven experience in residential design-build architecture Proficiency in architectural software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Revit Requirements: Architectural license Knowledge of local and national building codes and permitting processes Strong communication and relationship-building skills Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities Strong project management and organizational skills Apply confidentially now to become a part of a commitment to excellence in design and construction.
