The Technology Lead Business Analyst is responsible for liaising between business users and technologists to exchange information in a concise, logical, and understandable way in coordination with the development team.
The overall objective of this role is to contribute to continuous iterative exploration and investigation of business performance and other measures to gain insight and drive business planning.
Client is executing a multi-year technology initiative to upgrade our core accounting and servicing application for its Agency, NonAgency and Bi-lateral Lending businesses globally to support growth and strategic objectives.
The technology stack transformation includes migrating to the Loan IQ platform and exiting current product processors supporting the businesses.
The right resource will have deep industry knowledge in the core application processes and configuration capabilities of the Loan IQ platform, while also considering the needs of Client businesses.
H/she will have strong communication and diplomacy skills to influence internal partners to deploy the most effective solutions.
Ability to focus on details while ensuring higher level objectives are achieved, are critical to the success of this role.
The resource will take a lead role in driving execution across Loan IQ production support, analysis, configuration, migration, and testing efforts.
Responsibilities:
•Develop creative technical solutions to meet business needs and manage complex, high-volume applications in partnership with business partners and stakeholders.
•Manage multiple work streams and applications across geographies for lending technology.
•Contribute to formulation of strategies/processes for Product Road map, Development and Governance and contribute to defining standards and new automation initiatives.
•Develop communication to guide, influence and convince others, including colleagues in other areas and external customers.
•Provide advice and counsel related to the technology or operations of the business and filter, prioritize, and validate potentially complex material from multiple sources.
•Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Banking, its clients, and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications: •Loan IQ platform expertise, with strong preference of migration and/or new implementation experience
•Deep Loans domain knowledge in a large financial services organization including deal booking mechanics, corporate actions, payment systems, and credit agreements acumen.
•3+ years of experience in business analysis or systems analysis
•Demonstrated expertise in presenting and using planning tools.
•Proven diplomatic and analytical skills.
Persuades and influences colleagues, management, clients and stakeholders through excellent communication, interpersonal and diplomacy skills.
•Proven ability to manage complex and variable issues with substantial potential impact by weighing various action plans and balancing potentially conflicting needs.
•Individuals are expected to be subject matter experts in multiple or specific skill sets, business areas or products. Education:
•Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
•Master's degree preferred.
