Working independently and/or as part of a team, the incumbent is responsible for providing general cleaning and custodial care and support, performing their duties in their specific assigned work area and in other work areas as needed. Work areas are located within buildings, facilities, structures, classrooms, public areas, patios, entryways and workshops, adjacent areas and/or portions thereof, but are not limited to these areas.Facilities Management and Services (FMS) is a large, multifaceted department consisting of approximately 200 employees working various shifts and providing diverse administrative and operational services campus wide.The essential functions and responsibilities listed in this position description are typical work activities and the general range of work functions performed by Lead Custodians, they are not an all-inclusive or restrictive list of custodial-related work.
