What You Will Do

Position Summary:

As a Lead Data Analyst at Stryker, you are positioned at the forefront of data analytics within our Finance Data Science & Engineering team. Your role is essential in creating and managing powerful data visualizations and BI dashboards to support our financial decision-making processes. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and deliver custom data solutions that drive strategic initiatives forward.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Design, build, and maintain advanced Power BI dashboards and reports to enhance financial analytics capabilities.

Collaborate with finance professionals and data scientists across Stryker to gather and translate complex business requirements into actionable data-driven solutions.

Collaborate with Data Engineers and Architects to ensure the accuracy and quality of financial reporting by implementing robust data validation and quality assurance practices.

Work as part of integrated project teams on strategic projects such as inventory management and AI forecasting.

Develop bespoke dashboard solutions tailored to specific stakeholder needs, enabling deeper insights into financial data.

Oversee the integration of new features and updates to existing systems, ensuring seamless functionality and user experience.

Lead design sessions to capture user needs and requirements and ensure dashboards and reports effectively convey complex information and insights.

Manage the full lifecycle of data analytics projects, from requirement gathering to deployment and maintenance.

Keep up to date with recent trends and design patterns in the business intelligence domain, ensuring best practices and new technologies are applied.

What You Will Need:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field with a strong understanding of financial systems or equivalent experience.

4+ years of work experience required.

Qualifications & experience:

Proficient in building and maintaining Power BI dashboards with a keen eye for detail and design.

Strong experience in working with stakeholders to define business and reporting requirements.

Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering data analytics projects.

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Knowledge of database management, data processing, and data integration techniques.

Basic understanding of cloud data analytics platforms such as Azure Databricks.

Experience with SQL and developing and auditing complex queries.

Knowledge of Python is a plus.

Experience working with standard financial reports such as Profit & Loss is a plus.

$98,000 - $210,100.00 salary plus bonus eligible + benefits. Actual minimum and maximum may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.
