We are looking for a Senior or Lead Data Scientist to help bridge the gap between descriptive analytics and forward-thinking, prescriptive insights that will drive meaningful outcomes across marketing, product development, and customer engagement.
Position Summary:
As a Senior/Lead Data Scientist, you will play a critical role in building predictive models, optimizing marketing campaigns, and driving business strategy. You'll have the opportunity to work across the full data science lifecycle—from data exploration and feature engineering to productionizing models and deriving actionable insights. Working closely with marketing, data engineering, and high-level stakeholders, you will be the key person helping our business make smarter decisions backed by data.
Key Responsibilities:
End-to-End Predictive Modeling: Build, test, and productionalize predictive models focused on demand and supply matching, customer behavior, and long-term customer value (LTV).A/B Testing & Experimentation: Design and execute A/B, multivariate, and incrementality tests across channels (Meta, direct mail, etc.) to optimize creative distribution and improve marketing strategies.Customer Retention & LTV Optimization: Analyze site behavior, promotions, and cross-sell strategies to identify opportunities to enhance customer lifetime value and drive engagement.Marketing & Business Strategy: Develop data-driven strategies to optimize marketing budgets, forecast demand, and guide product marketing decisions.Collaboration & Stakeholder Management: Work closely with marketing teams, data engineering, software engineers, and high-level stakeholders (C-suite, Directors) to align data science initiatives with business objectives.Cross-functional Project Management: Lead and manage data science projects that span across multiple teams and disciplines to ensure alignment and timely delivery.Data Exploration & Ad Hoc Analysis: Tinker with Jupyter Notebook, pull data, and perform ETL tasks for quick insights and solutions.Your Impact:

Reporting to the VP of Data AI & ML, you'll join a growing team of data scientists, engineers, and analytics professionals.Collaborate with marketing teams, data engineers, and C-level executives to translate data into actionable business strategies.Work closely with agencies on ad tracking and experimentation, focusing on channels like Meta, Instagram, TikTok, and email—plus an exciting new focus on direct mail.About You:
Proven experience in predictive modeling, A/B testing, and data science methodologies.Strong strategic thinking skills, with the ability to align data science initiatives to business outcomes.Ability to work across the data pipeline—from ETL and data exploration to model production and insight generation.Strong communication skills to work effectively with technical teams and business leaders alike.Experience in marketing analytics, customer retention, and demand forecasting is a plus.Familiarity with marketing channels (social media, direct mail, TV) and tools (Airflow, Tableau, Jupyter Notebook).BENEFITS: $180,000 - $215,000 Base Salary + Bonus + Benefits
