Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for a Lead DevOps Engineer for a contract assignment with one of our premier financial services clients. Must work in one of these office locations: Salt Lake City UT or San Francisco CA.

Responsibilities:Strong emphasis on system IGA monitoring strategies within data centers, Cloud expertise in containerization (Kubernetes), CI/CD pipelines, and a solid understanding of IGA applications and cloud architecture principles (AWS, GCP).Design and implement robust cloud architectures (AWS, GCP) and on-premises data center monitoring and automation solutions, ensuring they align with business requirements and provide seamless IGA landscape integration.Craft comprehensive system monitoring strategies specifically tailored for data center environments, covering both physical and virtual infrastructure.Select and implement appropriate infrastructure monitoring tools (e.g., Dynatrace, Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, CloudWatch, Nagios, Zabbix, Saviynt) with a focus on data center metrics and SAP application specific KPIs.Innovate CICD Pipeline strategies incorporating IGA SAS branching and delta merging capabilities.Assess resource management practices in align with both cloud and data center requirements.Collaborate closely with development, IGA, and infrastructure teams to optimize deployments, troubleshoot issues, and ensure seamless integration across hybrid environments.Design and implement SAP strategies to the cloud, ensuring optimal performance, security, and integration with data center components.Design CI/CD/CT processes using standardized framework/tools.Evaluating, implementing, and streamlining CI/CD/CT practices.Establishing a continuous build environment to accelerate software deployment and development processes.Supervising, examining, and handling technical operations.Guide development teams and help resolve issues related to CI/CD/CT framework.Identifying setbacks and shortcomings in the process.Design and publish efficient CI/CD/CT practices across multiple projects.Interface between Customer CI/CD Team and CI/CD Team to discuss/define processes.Have a leadership attitude to handle cross functional teams.Experience creating CI/CD pipelines with tools such as Azure ADO, CodePipeline, Gitlab CI/CD, Harness, ArgoCD, or Jenkins.Experience with containerization management tools and services such as Kubernetes, EKS, Kops, HELM, or ECS.Working knowledge of multi-account architecture, leveraging tools such as AWS Control Tower, SCPs, GuardRails, and Transit Gateways.Wide technology experience that may include cloud architecture, cloud migrations, application development, networking, security, storage, DevOps, containers, serverless, CI/CD, management and monitoring, analytics, or machine learning.Some experience developing in one of the following languages: Java, Python, Go, Node.Js, or C#.Required Skills:Mentor and coach application developers on proper techniques for building secure, reliable and scalable applications (customized COTS, SAAS, in-house built, etc.).Design, configure, develop, implement, deploy, document, and support applications using three-tier architecture, microservices, on-prem/cloud/hybrid.Apply software architecture concepts including RESTful API design.Define, implement, optimize, document, and support the CI/CD pipeline and bring new automation technologies to improve the SDLC process.Implement and document DevOps best practices.Attend agile ceremonies.Hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform.Excellent analytical, problem solving and troubleshooting skills.Maintains high software engineering standards in support of security and reliability.Fosters a culture of collaboration and knowledge sharing.Solve difficult/complex technical problems, including performance.Work across multiple platforms and applications to understand dependencies.Implements and maintains security in accordance with Bank security policies.SGA is a technology and resource solutions provider driven to stand out.
