Lead Forensic Structural Engineer

Insight Global's engineering client is looking for a Lead Forensic Structural Engineer to join their team IN Tampa, FL or Hollywood, FL!
The position requires constant travel (a few times per week) to the offices with claims (Locations in Tampa, Hollywood, Orlando, Fort Myers, etc).
Their main responsibilities include managing structural forensic engineering assignments, performing forensic engineering assessments, providing verbal/written reports for insurance carriers, attorneys, homeowners, property managers, etc.
This person will also serve as an expert for multiple litigation cases.
The candidate must be comfortable with being exposed to field conditions, including but not limited to: ladders, walking on a variety of roof coverings, accessing roof attic or floor crawlspaces, walking, and assessing interior and exterior conditions.

B. S. Degree in Civil, Structural, or Architecture Engineering; M. S. Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering
Good data management/organization
Experience supervising junior EI's in field work, standards, findings, conclusions.
Active Professional Engineer (PE) license in FL
5+ years of relevant Structural-Forensic Engineering experience - Buildings/bridges
Residential and/or Commercial inspection and assessment experience
Performing onsite interviews, collecting histories, data, concerns , etc.
Photographing site conditions - ability to explain conditions and determine cause of loss
Knowledge of building codes and standards and construction practices
Experience with litigation - being a witness/ going to court/depositions
Ability to develop conclusions based on facts to resolve concerns and are defensible
Must have great documentation skills
Experience putting reports together for insurance carriers, attorneys, property managers, etc.
Experience working with insurance carriers.
Travel within 150 miles of your home, and occasional travel to other NV5 locations/geographical regions - FL travel 3 times per week.

NEED TO HAVE 2/3 REFERENCES PULLED FOR THEM - THEY WILL RUN THE REFERENCE.
