What you'll doWe are looking for an experienced frontend developer with a particular focus on user-facing product development while still taking on some full-stack tasks. Our team was originally part of Lexion and recently acquired by Docusign. We offer the best of both worlds: a startup small company feel, with the resources and backing of Docusign. You will be joining a team focusing on leveraging Lexion's best-in-class AI to build features and products for Docusign's large customer base. Some of your top priorities will be focusing on new product and re-usable component development.
This position is an individual contributor role reporting to Manager, Engineering.
Responsibilities Perform development tasks as key contributor by consistently delivering complex engineering projectsArticulate clear Software Engineering strategies, plans, goals and objectives across multiple Engineering domains, projects and teams, including cross-functional partnersGuide and mentor other engineers through all facets of engineering and product buildingIdentify, propose, and implement process improvements to continuously increase the teams productivity and efficiencyStay current with the latest development best frontend practices and share your findings with the teamTake full ownership of some of our components, from development to testing to performance tuningRaise issues proactively that might impact delivery commitmentsLead self and others through new concept development and implementationResearch new features and technologiesDeliver on the most complex and foundational layers of design Share and adopt best practices for performance and availability for one or more functional areaCollaborate with the UX organization and participate in design reviews Job DesignationHybrid: Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. (Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly in-office expectation)

What you bringBasic Minimum of 12 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 8 years related experience with a Master's degree; or a PhD with 5 years experience; or equivalent experience.Experience with Front end technologies like React, JavaScript, HTML, CSSExperience working the full stack preferably in one or more of object-oriented programming languages like C# and JavaExperience working with Designers and Usability ResearchersExperience making improvements to existing large code baseExperience using Git or other version control systemsFluency in English both verbal and writtenPreferred Passion for new technologiesExperience working for a SaaS companyExperience building React component libraries used across multiple projectsDeep knowledge of HTML and CSS and how the web worksExperience working independently and in team environment as neededA track record of being a self-starter - Individual/team responsibility is our main driver in the development workPractical experience with any Cloud technologies: Azure, Kubernetes, AWS, etcFocus on writing high quality code that is easy to maintain and read by othersStrong understanding and experience in agile methodologies Wage TransparencyPay for this position is based on a number of factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
Based on applicable legislation, the below details pay ranges in the following locations:
California: $171,500.00 - $277,025.00 base salary
Washington and New York (including NYC metro area): $164,800.00 - $242,225.00 base salary
This role is also eligible for bonus, equity and benefits.
