We're seeking a Lead Graphic Designer to bring our creative visions to life for both digital and physical platforms. Core Responsibilities:
Create visual designs for use across various platforms: logos, posters, banners, large-format signage, event-specific props, presentations, and more.
Collaborate with internal teams, clients, and vendors to develop design solutions that meet creative and brand needs.
Utilize 3D modeling software like SketchUp, Adobe Substance Stager, and Marmoset Toolbag to bring design elements to life and help sell them to clients.
Use Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Keynote for delivering print and digital assets (signage, set pieces, social media content, etc.).
Apply design principles such as color theory, typography, composition, and layout for high-quality visuals.
Work directly with clients to design, edit, and execute speaker presentations and other graphics, sometimes acting as Graphics Operator during live productions.
Travel as needed for short periods to manage graphics and slides before and during presentations such as general sessions and award shows.
Ensure accurate and on-brand designs by interfacing with audiovisual teams.
Operate under pressure with a positive attitude , especially when dealing with last-minute content updates in both PowerPoint and Keynote.
Oversee budgeting for all print and design work, ensuring cost accuracy and communication regarding potential overruns or rush charges.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and meet deadlines while collaborating smoothly with team members and clients.
Expertise in presenting design concepts and solutions for internal and client feedback.
Stay updated on design industry trends and ensure quality control for all design deliverables.
Adhere to production schedules and manage budgets effectively.
Additional Support Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the Technical Director and Scenic Operations Manager on construction, installation, and shipping logistics for design elements.
Work with Producers on proposals, mockups, and renderings.
Create room layouts and 3D models of sets for future use.
Deliver CNC-ready files to support technical and shop operations.
Qualifications:
Proficient in SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and other 3D modeling tools.
Strong understanding of design principles and production methods for print and digital formats.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
Experience working in a fast-paced, creative environment.
