The Syracuse VAMC is seeking an experienced Lead Hospitalist to manage the Hospitalist & Nocturnist team.

Responsibilities
• - M-F coverage to allow effective interaction with daytime program staff• - Oversees 5 teams, responds to acute issues• - Oversees hospitalist schedules• - Oversees nights & weekend coverage for nocturnists & ICU• - Oversees CRQS residency program• - Oversees clinical training of hospitalist teams and trainees assigned to these teams• - Manages quality initiates associated with inpatient care• - Manages implementation & sustainment of clinical pathways (including, but not limited to, CHF, COPD, Alcohol, Sepsis, Joint, OUD)• - Clinical time to maintain clinical currency & privileges (approximately 20%)
