The RoleWe are seeking a dynamic and experienced Lead Internal Communications Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will have 4-6 years of experience in communications, with a proven track record of working closely with leadership to drive internal communication strategies. This role requires a strong writer who can craft clear, compelling messages that resonate with diverse audiences within the organization.

The Main ResponsibilitiesDevelop and Implement Communication Strategies: Create and execute internal communication plans that align with the company's goals and culture, ensuring consistency and clarity in messaging.Content Creation: Write, edit, and distribute high-quality content including newsletters, articles, emails, intranet articles, presentations, talking points and other communication materials.Leadership Communication Support: Work closely with company leaders to develop communication strategies and materials that effectively convey their messages and engage employees.Employee Engagement: Plan and execute initiatives to foster a positive and engaging work environment through effective communication.Feedback Mechanisms: Establish and maintain feedback channels to gauge the effectiveness of communication strategies and identify areas for improvement.Event Management: Coordinate and support internal events, including town halls, employee meetings, and other company gatherings.Brand Consistency: Ensure all internal communications are consistent with the company's brand and values.Measurement and Reporting: Track and report on the effectiveness of internal communication efforts, using data to inform and improve future strategies. What We Look For in a CandidateRequired Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field.4-6 years of experience in internal communications or a similar role.Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.Proven experience working with senior leaders and managing executive communications.Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization.Creative thinker with the ability to develop innovative communication solutions.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with communication tools and platforms.Preferred Experience with graphic design and video production is a plus.Knowledge of digital communication tools and platforms, such as intranets and social media.Experience in change management communications. CompensationThe starting salary for this role differs based on the employee's primary work location. Employees typically do not start at the top of the range, though compensation depends on each individual's qualifications.
Location Based Pay Ranges $80,510 - $107,340 in these states: AR, ID, KY, LA, ME, MS, NE, SC, and SD.
$84,740 - $112,980 in these states: AZ, AL, FL, GA, IN, IA, KS, MO, MT, NM, ND, OH, OK, PA, TN, UT, VT, WV, WI, and WY.
$88,980 - $118,630 in these states: CO, HI, MI, MN, NV, NH, NC, OR, and RI.
$93,210 - $124,280 in these states: AK, CA, CT, DE, DC, IL, MD, MA, NJ, NY, TX, VA, and WA.
As with the pay range variety that's based on the region of a country, specific offers are determined by various factors such as experience, education, skills, certifications and other business needs.
