Job summary
Act as a Lead Software Engineer with focus on building out back-end Spring Boot/Microservices for Customer Loyalty Applications.Develop new web applications and maintain existing applications utilizing modern web technologies such as Spring Boot, REST, Vue.js, JavaScript, SQL and MongoDB.Translate business requirements into system design, work directly with business analysts on requirements, and provide hour or story point estimates.

Responsibilities
• Act as a Lead Software Engineer and build back-end Spring Boot/Microservices• Develop and maintain web applications using modern web technologies• Translate business requirements into system design• Work with business analysts on requirements• Prepare detailed technical specifications• Provide system support and troubleshoot complex system issues• Provide guidance, training, and mentorship to other associates• Perform code peer reviews and suggest best practices• Follow SDLC processes• Work in an Agile/Scrum environment
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree preferred and 8+ years of software development experience in Java stack• 8+ years of advanced Java development experience• 5+ years of relational database experience• 5+ years of developing REST APIs• 3+ years of development of Spring Boot/Microservices applications• 2+ years of experience with back-end NoSQL Databases• 2+ years of experience with advanced JavaScript libraries• Experience with GIT, SQL queries, Azure DevOps or JIRA• Experience in Cloud environment with Azure Cloud preferred• Continuous learner with open mindset
