Lead Network Engineer with expertise in Fortigate SD-WAN (version 7.6.2)
to design, implement, and manage complex network infrastructures. The ideal candidate will lead technical projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and serve as a primary point of contact for client stakeholders. This role demands excellent technical knowledge, leadership skills, and the ability to manage client relationships effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
Technical Leadership:
Architect, design, and deploy Fortigate SD-WAN solutions tailored to client needs, leveraging version 7.6.2 features and capabilities.
Troubleshoot, optimize, and maintain SD-WAN deployments to ensure high performance and reliability.
Stay updated on the latest Fortigate features, security patches, and best practices.
Project Management:
Lead end-to-end implementation projects, including requirements gathering, design, deployment, testing, and documentation.
Coordinate with internal teams and third-party vendors to ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation.
Client Engagement:
Act as the primary technical liaison for client stakeholders, translating technical concepts into business language.
Conduct regular updates, presentations, and reviews with clients to ensure alignment with their objectives.
Provide training and knowledge transfer to client teams post-deployment.
Team Collaboration:
Mentor and guide junior engineers on best practices for SD-WAN design and deployment.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including security, cloud, and DevOps, to deliver integrated solutions.
Qualifications:
Technical Skills:
In-depth knowledge of Fortigate
SD-WAN (version 7.6.2),
including advanced routing, load balancing, and security features.
Strong expertise in networking protocols (BGP, OSPF, MPLS, etc.) and WAN optimization.
Experience with network security concepts and technologies (firewalls, VPNs, IPS/IDS).
Familiarity with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools (e.g., Wireshark, SolarWinds).
Hands-on experience with FortiManager and FortiAnalyzer is a plus.
Certifications:
Fortinet NSE 4 or higher certification (NSE 5, 6, or 7 preferred).
CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent certifications are highly desirable.
Soft Skills:
Exceptional problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective client interactions.
Leadership skills to manage teams and projects effectively.
Experience:
Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in network engineering, with at least 3 years focusing on Fortigate SD-WAN solutions.
