Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Lead Node.js Backend Developer to join our growing team. This is a remote position where you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing scalable backend solutions to support our next generation of applications. As a lead, you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams, provide technical leadership, and ensure that our systems are robust, secure, and efficient. Key Responsibilities: Lead the design, development, and deployment of backend services using Node.js and related technologies. Architect and implement scalable, high-performance APIs and microservices. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to other developers on the team. Collaborate closely with front-end developers, DevOps, and product managers to ensure seamless integration of backend services. Ensure high standards of code quality through reviews, automated testing, and best practices. Monitor and optimize backend performance, security, and scalability. Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in a timely manner. Qualifications: 8+ years of professional experience in backend development, with a focus on Node.js . Proven experience in leading development teams or large-scale projects. Strong understanding of API design, microservices architecture, and RESTful services. Expertise in working with databases (both SQL and NoSQL). Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and CI/CD pipelines. Solid understanding of security best practices and performance tuning. Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Nice to Have: Experience with GraphQL. Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes. Experience in the beverage or distribution industry is a plus.
