Client: Confidential Hyperscale Data Center Salary Range: $175,000+ Benefits: Full Employer paid BCBS Healthcare Coverage for employee and family Full employer paid Dental Coverage for employee and family Full employer paid vision and chiropractic care $25k employer provided Life Insurance policy (Increased coverage is offered) 8% 401(k) Employer Contribution vested from the start Education Benefits Role Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Lead Data Center Owners Representative Project Manager to oversee the construction of a hyperscale data center in TX. This individual will be responsible for managing all aspects of the project from mass grading to completion, ensuring safety, quality, and adherence to budget and schedule. The successful candidate will possess extensive experience in managing mass grading, civil contractors, and general contractors on large-scale data center projects. Key Details: • Remote Work: Expected during mass grading until the general contractor (GC) mobilizes on site. • On-site Work: Required in TX once the GC mobilizes. • Travel: Travel to the site as needed once the mass grading contractor mobilizes. Travel must be pre-approved by the program manager. • Relocation: Required relocation to TX area when the GC mobilizes. Key Responsibilities: 1. Site Safety Oversight: • As the early site lead, prioritize the safety of all workers and uphold the high standards outlined in Exhibit U. Set an example to ensure compliance with the safety program throughout the project. 2. Project Management & Reporting: • Lead all project management activities, including preparation and submission of regular status reports to stakeholders. • Ensure transparent communication with stakeholders regarding project progress, risks, and performance. 3. Budget Management: • Manage project finances, ensuring the project remains within the predetermined budget. • Approve and oversee change orders and payment requests. 4. Change Management: • Identify, track, and manage project changes, ensuring all deviations from the original plan are properly documented and approved. 5. Risk Management: • Proactively identify risks and develop mitigation strategies to keep the project on track. • Conduct risk assessments and manage potential project impacts effectively. 6. Schedule Management & Reporting: • Ensure the project remains on schedule, from mass grading through to site completion. • Facilitate regular schedule updates, report deviations, and implement corrective actions where necessary. 7. Contractor Oversight: • Manage the contractor's site safety program, ensuring compliance with all safety standards and regulations. • Oversee technical testing and inspections, and ensure compliance with project requirements. 8. Submittals & Approvals: • Review and manage the submittals process, ensuring timely approval of documents and materials. • Lead the review and approval of change orders, requests for payments, and other key project documents. Qualifications: • Experience: PMP Certifications are a huge plus . • 5-10 years of experience managing large-scale construction projects, preferably with hyperscale data centers or mission-critical projects. • Proven experience managing mass grading, civil contractors, and general contractors. • Demonstrated experience working with local Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJs). • Technical Skills: • Strong knowledge of construction project management, budgeting, and scheduling practices. • Familiarity with managing safety programs and conducting safety oversight on large projects. • Proficiency in reporting, managing submittals, and coordinating multiple teams across complex projects.
