About the Role Complex is seeking a Lead Product Manager to drive the strategy, development, and optimization of our top-of-funnel experiences and revenue technology (RevTech) stack for Complex.com. This role will lead the Audience, Discovery, and Content domain roadmaps, owning key areas like Home, Browse, Publishing, and Curation Tools, as well as Search, Personalization, and Recommendations. Additionally, you'll integrate Commerce and Content/Social Syndication & Distribution into cohesive user journeys while enhancing SEO, traffic generation (including marketing), and performance metrics.Your efforts will be pivotal in creating exceptional experiences that engage users, grow our audience, and maximize revenue opportunities. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to build cutting-edge tools and solutions for internal stakeholders, ensuring our ad operations and sales teams can achieve their revenue goals without compromising the user experience
\n What You'll DoOwn the Product Vision: Develop and execute the strategic product roadmap for top-of-funnel user experiences, custom advertising solutions, and ad tech optimization.Drive Audience Growth: Build scalable tools and features to enhance audience discovery, personalization, and engagement through SEO, syndication, and distribution. Lead Product Development: Oversee the development of Home, Browse, and Search experiences, publishing workflows, curation tools, and commerce integrations.Optimize Ad Revenue: Collaborate with ad operations and sales teams to create internal tools and innovative ad solutions that maximize revenue while maintaining a seamless user experience.Enhance Ad Tech Stack: Identify, evaluate, and implement RevTech solutions to streamline processes, increase efficiency, and drive measurable outcomes.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with engineering, design, editorial, ad ops, sales, and marketing teams to align on goals and deliver impactful solutions.Measure and Optimize: Use data-driven insights to measure success, iterate on product performance, and continuously improve user engagement and revenue outcomes. Who You Are5+ years of product management experience, preferably in a digital media and an e-commerce environment.A proven track record of developing and scaling digital product experiences that drive audience growth and revenue.Expertise in SEO, personalization, search, and recommendation systems, and familiarity with commerce and syndication platforms.Experience with ad tech stacks, including video and display advertising inventory, programmatic ads, and custom ad solutions.Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to partner across disciplines and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Data-driven mindset, with a focus on leveraging analytics and performance metrics to inform decision-making.Familiarity with modern tools and platforms for product management, such as Jira, Tableau, or Google Analytics.A passion for creating user-first experiences while driving measurable business results. \n$175,000 - $210,000 a year
The Pay Range, which consists of salary and commission, for this position is listed. Actual pay will vary based on factors including, but not limited to location, experience, and performance.
