Lead Python Full Stack Engineer
San Francisco, California We are looking for an exceptional software engineer in San Francisco to support the growth of our investment advisory firm. About the role The Lead Python Full-Stack Engineer position reports to the Head of Investment Strategy. The individual would be a member of the Investment Strategy Team, which is responsible for top-down portfolio construction and asset allocation, for macroeconomic and capital markets research, and for portfolio implementation and rebalancing using our proprietary client portfolio management products. These products are used to rebalance portfolios, generate portfolio analytics, and monitor portfolios.

This individual will use their depth of experience in software engineering and design to enhance these products to add new functionality and solve challenging future problems. The individual will maintain and upgrade the application code as well as the web UI, striving for a balance between responsiveness and reliability of our applications.

About you Degree in a related field, such as computer science, computer systems, engineering, etc. 5-10 years of software engineering experience Strong sense of ownership, self-management, and adaptability Experience supporting critical production systems Motivated to contribute throughout the stack, from batch processes to UI features Strong project management and verbal and written communication skills Discreet in handling sensitive and confidential information Your Technical Background Extensive Python programming experience with a deep understanding of pandas Fluency in Plotly Dash or Flask Expert-level SQL and familiarity with Postgres Significant experience with AWS Working knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, Helm Comfortable with Git and Jira workflows Familiarity with Addepar, Salesforce, and/or Tableaus is a plus Compensation & Benefits Compensation at Jordan Park includes a base salary, discretionary year-end bonus, benefits and other perks. We apply a total reward philosophy when determining compensation terms.

The expected base salary for this role in San Francisco, California will range from $150,000 - $250,000 per year commensurate with experience, job-related skills, relevant education, licenses and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
