A role you will love
As the Lead Quality Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for undertaking functional software testing to ensure that the level of quality delivered aligns with the organizational risk appetite through test analysis, design, implementation and execution, in line with agreed plans and strategies.
You will also be aligned to cross-functional project and software delivery teams to support delivery of new or enhanced functionality enabling the team to confidently measure, deliver and improve quality in delivering products.
In this role, you will take the lead on test analysis, design, implementation & execution activities working collaboratively with the software delivery team to embed quality throughout the delivery lifecycle.
Other Key Responsibilities Include: Lead and implement best QA practices Operationally lead and mentor the QA team Delivery of Test Analysis, Design, Implementation & Execution activities to assess functional suitability of software delivered Maintain and improve the QA automation Solicit feedback to clarify/understand requirements and to draw out implied requirements Perform and apply risk analysis to assess likelihood and impact of software failure to define the optimum breadth and depth of test coverage Use formal test design techniques to translate requirements into clearly defined, prioritized test cases Ensure clear traceability between requirements and acceptance criteria and test cases Utilize recognized test management tools to prepare and execute test cases Recognize and log valid defects in the relevant test and defect management tools What will you bring to the role? 5+ years' experience in a QA role 2+ years' experience in Test Automation (Selenium) Prior experience leading QA practice ISTQB Foundation Certified Tester Strong experience in API testing Database experience Experience with web services testing and overnight jobs Experience with ADO and/or test management tools Experience collecting regulatory Audit evidence Bonus points if you have: ISTQB Foundation Agile Tester Certification ISTQB Advanced Level Test Analyst Certification Additional Quality Assurance / Quality Engineering certifications Performance Testing experience Degree in Computer Science or related discipline Rewards designed for you Paid parental leave, flexible working and a caring and inclusive culture.

Compensation. The typical base pay range for this role is $92,000 - $131,000 USD.
This base pay is specific to Maryland and may not be applicable to all locations.
This range reflects our good faith effort to pay fairly based on our job evaluation of this role and we tailor our offers within the range based on the selected candidate's relevant knowledge, skills, experience, and other job-related factors.
