Lead Radiographer

Inova Health System seeks a Digital Imaging Technical Lead for its MR1 Team at Fairfax Hospital.
This full-time role requires a minimum of 3 years of imaging experience in an applicable modality.
Key Responsibilities:
Obtain clinical history and informed consent from patients to assist physicians in optimizing examination performance and interpretation.
Coordinate new team member and student department orientation and training.
Maintain a safe and clean environment to ensure patient and staff safety.
Operate imaging equipment according to manufacturer's specifications.
Troubleshoot equipment effectively and report issues to Biomedical Engineering/Vendor.
Perform routine quality control testing and document results.
Recognize and perform routine maintenance of image processors to maintain consistent image quality.
Requirements:
Work Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Thursday 12:00pm-10:30pm with holidays.
Location: Inova Fairfax Medical Campus.
Education: Graduate of accredited radiography program.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of imaging experience in an applicable modality.
Certification: Certified by ARRT, ARMRIT, CAMRT, or NMTCB, and possess additional certification in Cat Scan or Mammography or MRI; BLS; CPR.
