Is that you?_*Work location: *Texas Health Frisco, 12400 N Dallas Parkway TX 75033*Work hours: *Full Time, Monday through Friday 8:00am-4:30pm; call and holiday coverage*Department highlights: ** Interprofessional Partner of Excellence for Teamwork for all of THR Frisco.* The Radiology department was also recognized for the "all pro team award" for joint commission survey readiness.* A very diverse and inclusive team with a focus on exceptional patient careQualifications*Here's What You Need** Other Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology required OR* Associate's Degree preferred* 2 Years experience in general radiology required AND* 1 year hospital experience preferred* ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Radiology Upon Hire Req And* CMRT - Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist Either by the TDH or TMB Upon Hire Req And* BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Req*What You Will Do*· Staff supervision and coordination of daily department activities· Collaborates with the technical staff in organizing and directing department work flow.· Evaluates technical skills, and schedules staff appropriately to include call and holidays.· Provides adequate staff coverage including vacation schedules, absenteeism and turnover.· Oversees orientation, preceptor, training and cross-training of new staff to department, assesses their ability to work independently, communicates policies and procedures to staff, and verifies orientation paperwork· Cooperates and coordinates with other managers and team leaders in facilitating communication flow and procedures between technical, clerical, support staff, students and other departments.
