Role and Responsibilities Specific responsibilities include: Design and maintain automated tests that provide functional, regression and integration test coverage for micro services that deal with order processing with external partner integrations. Work with Samsung eCommerce Partners to perform integration tests. Report and track issues identified on automation runs. Collaborate with product managers and developers to define use cases to be tested for best possible customer journey flows. Work on building tools and scripts to validate information sent to and received from partner systems. Co-ordinate with geographically dispersed teams across time zones. Conduct integration testing between UI Clients and APIs with documented technical scenarios/flows. Background & Competencies Required: Bachelor of Science in Computer Science (or equivalent). 8+ years of QA experience on backend services, micro-services architecture and customer journey flows. 4+ years of Automation Experience on micro-services or web applications. Good coding skills in one of the languages - Javascript, Java, Python. Experience in Ecommerce domain's purchase journey. Understanding of automation/testing with stub and mocked data from integrated systems. Hands-on experience with one or more relational databases and SQL. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience in Agile Testing Quadrants and building. Benefits @ Samsung The salary range for this role, for candidates based in California, is expected to be between $178,000 and $204,000.
Actual pay will be determined considering factors such as relevant skills and experience, and comparison to other employees in the role.
