Job Summary and Qualifications The Lead Surgical Technologist is responsible for planning and coordinating surgical care, demonstrating expertise in various surgical specialties, and providing guidance to other surgical technologists.
Requirements include a high school diploma or GED equivalent, graduation from a surgical technologist program, or one year of experience as a surgical technologist in a hospital setting.
Must maintain certification as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or Tech in Surgery, Certified through the National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT).
