Job Title: Lead, Systems Engineering Job Code: 18022 Job Location: Greenville, Texas – (Responsibilities must be performed on-site) Job Schedule: 5/8 Work Schedule – (Monday thru Friday) Job Description: Lead Systems Engineer for RC-135U possessing engineering experience to provide system level engineering guidance and leadership to contributing disciplines within the systems engineering group. This position desires technical and troubleshooting skills to investigate and solve system performance issues including operational environment impacts. The individual will be responsible for the generation and review of technical papers, calculations, and briefings. The individual will work hand in hand with program management office and customer on all RC-135U system engineering matters. Essential Functions: Ability to communicate clearly (written and verbal) to technical and non-technical personnel. Able to read, interpret, create, and maintain spreadsheets, charts, reports, investigation and test plans, and procedures. Candidate should be able to perform systems level requirements, design, test, and integration of Hardware Control systems on various air platforms. Can utilize appropriate RF test and measurement equipment to test Electronic Warfare receivers, antennas and processors. Interfaces with the customer to determine system specific requirements. Participating in formal engineering analysis and reviewing performance parameters at the total system and individual component levels. Performing the design, development, and release of related data management, processing, and reporting software tools. Ability to perform debugging and troubleshooting of software and hardware devices. Job Qualification Requirements: Bachelor's Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience. Must possess an active DoD Secret security clearance along with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret (SCI) security clearance, which requires U.S. Citizenship. Experience in working RC-135 systems, trainers, antennas, or receivers. Ability to support and be responsible for all RC-135U mission systems, receivers, and processors. Preferred Additional Experience: Ability to communicate clearly (written and verbal) to technical and non-technical personnel Experience in Software coding and development. Able to read, interpret, create, and maintain spreadsheets, charts, reports, investigation and test plans, and procedures. Ability to work both independently and within a team environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, et al) is required to generate work products. Proficiency in Microsoft Visio Application Knowledge of systems engineering concepts, practices, and procedures. Experience presenting design and project information at periodic reviews as well as recommending improvements to existing designs. Be comfortable handling a large amount of classified material. Familiarity with working with Unix/Linux commands in terminal consoles. Experience with building test cases to assess software and system operation against requirements, writing defect reports, and assessing corrections. Familiarity with networking technologies, to include Security+ certification. Familiarity with RC135 Electronic Warfare Systems. DoD/Military experience.
