Pay Range: $65 - $75/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
Required Keywords: (Engineer or Engineering) and (Test or design or verification or validation or Integration) and (178 or 254 or 160 or DO178 or DO254 or DO160 or "DO-160" or "DO-254" or "DO-178" or DOORS or ClearCase or ClearQuest) and (RADAR or "Rack Stack" or ATE or "test equipment" or Systems or adapters or APU or "Power Unit" or "gas turbine" or propulsion or LRU)
Must have a bachelor's degree in science or engineering discipline
Experience in software development with a solid foundation in C, C++, Python, LabWindows/CVI.
10+ years of related experience, including 3 Years experience in leading Software teams
Provide technical leadership in identifying and resolving system issues, minimizing downtime, and ensuring systems remain operational
Requirements analysis and decomposition
Systems Design, Integration, Validation & Verification
Customer interaction
Project oversight, coordination and budget/schedule responsibility
Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS) as well as multithreaded environments and embedded systems desired.
Experience with creating technical documents and developing software requirements from customer inputs along with experience in DO-178B/ DO-178C, DO-254, DO-160 certification requirements.
Comprehensive knowledge in systems integration, implementation, and troubleshooting
Experience in ClearCase/ClearQuest, DOORS, BITBUCKET
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly so that it may be understood by both technical and non-technical individuals.
Ability to move into new teams and quickly learn project defined specific process while applying past knowledge and experience; adapt well to a changing environment, anticipate problems, recognize and eliminate barriers.
Ability to apply technical concepts to specific tasks and to work with minimum supervision.
Ability to break a complex problem into manageable parts and organize an approach and a solution in a systematic way.
Ability to work with cross-functional disciplines (hardware, software, systems) in a team environment, possess good people skills and have the ability to work effectively with other organizations and individuals at all levels.
Skilled at developing/integrating new ideas, optimizing alternatives & establishing backup plan.
Demonstrates a positive, can-do attitude; highly motivated individual with the ability to self-start, prioritize, and multi-task.
Have you taken the system level requirements and develop Test Requirements Documents?
Which phases of the System life cycle are your strongest and which phases are your weakest? Why? What phases do you enjoy most?
Discuss your experiences in the design and development of Test Solution.
What Programming languages are you proficient in? What languages(s) do you prefer? Preferably Python, C, LabWindow CVI, LabView

What Test Certification process (DO-160, DO-178, DO-254), are you familiar with?
What Embedded OS have you worked with?
What your experience with developing code based on a schematic?
