About the position: As Lead Technical Recruiter, you will play a crucial role in strategically expanding our teams by hiring for key positions that support our business objectives. Reporting to the Director of Recruiting, you will be a vital part of our small (but mighty!) two-person recruiting team and tasked with managing the full-cycle recruitment process for all technical positions. Your role will involve everything from sourcing and interviewing to scheduling and reporting. What you'll do: Own recruiting for all technical functions, including (but not limited to) software engineering, data analytics, technical integrations, and product management. This role will also be expected to support business functions as needed. Independently manage all aspects of the recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, scheduling and offer negotiation. Implement personalized and strategic sourcing efforts to identify and engage high-caliber technical talent, ensuring a strong pipeline of candidates who align with our company's mission and values. Utilize data to continuously identify opportunities to streamline and improve recruiting processes, enhancing efficiency and effectiveness. Build strong relationships with hiring managers and senior leadership to understand
hiring needs, align recruiting strategies, and ensure a seamless hiring process. Proactively manage up to address and resolve bottlenecks in the recruitment process, ensuring timely progress by communicating challenges and collaborating on solutions. Stay up to date on the latest trends in technology and the competitive landscape of the NYC job market, using this knowledge to refine recruiting strategies and attract top-tier talent. Maintain a high degree of accountability for your work, consistently delivering on recruitment goals. As Lead Technical Recruiter you should have: 4+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, preferably with a proven track record in a high-growth, fast-paced environment. Strong understanding of technical roles, including software engineering, data analytics, technical integrations, and product management is required. Prior experience with Greenhouse preferred. Intermediate Excel skills preferred. Proven strength in negotiating offers, ensuring outcomes that meet both candidate expectations and Stellar's compensation philosophy. Strong interpersonal and communication skills for engaging with technical candidates and effectively conveying the company's value proposition. Ability to communicate effectively with senior leadership and provide data-driven insights and recommendations. Ability to quickly adapt to changing priorities and business needs. High degree of professionalism, integrity, and ethics, and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information. Strong knowledge of the tech market, trends, and challenges, and a keen interest in staying updated on the latest developments. Pay: The salary range for this role is $115,000 - $145,000 and will be eligible for an annual performance based bonus and equity grant. Where a new hire falls within this range will be based on their individual skills and experience, and how these competencies compare across other employees in the same role. Stellar's bands are designed to allow for individual compensation growth within the role. As such, new hires typically start at the lower end of the range.
