The Lead Technician will provide on-site coordination and assistance to the Field Personnel for all phases of construction projects. Lead Technician will work closely with the Superintendent to ensure daily coordination, scheduling of the work, inspections, quality control, and job site safety is completed.
Essential Job Functions Effective communication with all Superintendents, Assistants and Project Managers to ensure complete understanding of projects.Perform quality control duties and responsibilities regarding the work being performed. Ensure that subcontractor is fully executing and complying with his contracted scope of work. Identify and communicate conflicts in construction progress to the project team for resolution. Periodically will perform Lead Technician duties at multiple job sites, simultaneously. Understanding of jobsite protocols specific to project and site. Ensure that the job site is always kept in a clean and organized manner. Perform job progress and completion punch list walks identifying and completing incomplete items. Ability to manage time and follow instructions and schedules. Delivering needed materials to jobsite in a timely fashion. Opening the jobsite at beginning of the day and securing the jobsite at the end of the day. Physical labor as required to complete certain scopes of work. These include but are not limited to carpentry, flooring, paint, drywall, site prep, light plumbing and electrical, etc. Additional duties as assigned. Qualifications and Requirements 1-3 years of experience in renovation and multi-family construction experience.High School diploma or equivalent. Must have reliable transportation. M-F typically working 8am-5pm, 30-40 Hours per week. Weekend work on occasion.Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel. Detail-oriented, strong written and verbal communication skills. Local travel necessary with possibility of Regional travel. Physical Requirements
