Responsible for outreach and promotion of MVP lines of business to individuals and community groups from target market. Supervise diverse team of outreach representatives and Individual Product Advisors. Under the direction of the Director, Retail Outreach Operations, assist with the implementation of sales strategy for Retail Outreach and Medicare plans. Responsible for supervising staff and overseeing promotion of MVP's Medicaid, Child Health Plus (CHP), Essential Plan, HARP, On [1] Exchange Qualified Health Plans (QHP), Off-Exchange Plans, and Medicare Advantage plans to individuals at Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs), medical provider offices, Community-Based Organizations (CBOs), WIC Centers, Faith-Based Organizations (FBOs), and schools. Provide ongoing support to Individual Product Advisors and Outreach Representatives. Track and interpret membership enrollment and engagement data in CRM (Dynamics) for assigned territories. Work closely with the local Community-Based Organizations, Local Department of Social Services staff, and the staff of affiliated Health Centers. Assist Director, Retail Outreach Operations in development of the Annual Outreach plan. Provide guidance to Leader, Outreach Staff on annual performance evaluations of team members. Strategically identify enrollment sites where field staff can solicit applications consistent with department goals developed by the Director of Retail Outreach Operations. Assist Field Staff Leader with enrollment site maintenance when needed. On a regular basis, audit electronic applications in CRM (Dynamics) to ensure the integrity and quality of the enrollment process. Communicate with Director, Retail Outreach Operations and Leader, Outreach Staff to identify Outreach Representatives and Individual Product Advisors who may require additional training. Inform Team members of, and ensure understanding and compliance with, any internal or external (Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services, (CMS), New York State Department of Health (NYSDOH) or Local Department of Social Services (LDSS) policy changes or revisions and SMART guide process. Conduct regularly scheduled team meetings. Attend Community-Based Organizations and provider partners' meetings as needed. Ensure that assigned outreach field staff is compliant with MVP's policy and procedures with emphasis on regulatory standards and approved processes. Supervise enrollment workflow to ensure staff is meeting Retail Outreach and Medicare enrollment goals. Assist with resolving client issues by following SMART process and escalating the issue to the appropriate staff/department when necessary. Subject to a flexible schedule. Local travel is required. Outreach sites may require proof of immunizations, drug testing and additional background checks for Leader, Field Operations to be present at those sites. Individual Product Advisor will participate in such screenings/provide proof of immunization when requested. Ability to lift/transport heavy promotional materials (brochures, giveaways etc.) is required. Perform other duties as assigned. Remote; Travel required in Rochester and Utica (mileage reimbursed)
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Education/Experience: H.S. Diploma or equivalent; plus 10 years work experience, or 4-year degree plus 6 years of work experience 5 years of supervisory/leadership skills. H.S. Diploma or equivalent; plus 10 years work experience, Required Skills: Excellent written communication and interpersonal skills with ability to communicate with multiple audiences including internal and external customers Self-motivated, organized problem solver with an ability to inspire, lead, and work in a team-based environment Understanding of ethnic/cultural differences Familiarity with service area and sensitivity to Government Programs target market • Access to reliable transportation is required physical demands – some lifting/transporting of heavy materials up to 20 lbs. (brochures, equipment etc.) might be required Preferred skills: Experience in a Managed Care B2C setting NYSOH Marketplace facilitated enroller certification preferred (will need to be obtained within first 90 days of employment) NY Health Insurance License preferred (will need to be obtained within first 90 days of employment) Excellent presentation and communication skills Bilingual ability desirable (Spanish preferred) Evenings and Weekends Required to Support the Team About MVP
