SUMMARY:The Manufacturing Engineer supports design engineers in design-for-manufacturing, works with operational technical experts in designing tools, fixtures, programs and equipment to support a high quality, repetitive, economically competitive products. Accountable for the end manufacturing costs of the product and the ability of production to produce a good quality product the first time. Exceptional foresight, great communication skills, strong knowledge of different engineering and manufacturing disciplines and an aptitude for managing risk. Creating strong working relationships with vendors and production team members. In this role you will exhibit strong troubleshooting skills and must find solutions to reducing waste in the manufacturing process. In this role you have the opportunity to positively impact the future manufacturing environment while improving current practices. The Manufacturing Engineer is a self-starter, gathers and analyzes data, works proactively to resolve the root cause incorporating the team members responsible for the day-to-day manufacturing process.
